A complete wash-and-rinse set for short-coated dogs.
Short coats don't tangle, so the concern is different: it's skin and shine. Frequent bathing with a harsh shampoo strips natural oils, which leaves the skin dry and flaky and the coat looking dull rather than sleek. A gentle aloe-based wash followed by a conditioning rinse handles both — clean skin underneath, and that glossy, close-lying finish a short coat is supposed to have.
What's inside
Forbis Short Coat Aloe Shampoo (750 ml) — Made for breeds that carry a short, dense coat: Labradors, Beagles, Pugs, Dobermans, Indies. The aloe base cleans thoroughly without drying out the skin, so you can bathe regularly without the itching and flaking that often follows.
Forbis Aloe Rinse Conditioner (750 ml) — Follows the shampoo to restore moisture and smooth the hair shaft. Short coats show shine more readily than long ones, and this is the step that brings it out. Also helps keep loose hair contained, so there's less shedding around the house in the days after a bath.
How to use
Wet the coat through to the skin. Massage the shampoo in, paying attention to the back, chest and underbelly, then rinse fully. Apply the rinse, leave it two to three minutes, rinse out completely. Towel dry — short coats need no blow-drying in most weather.
Why buy the pair
Two full 750 ml bottles matched to the same aloe base, priced lower together than separately. At a bath every three to four weeks, this set lasts a long-coat owner's envy.
